Kick Bullying into Touch Campaign for NSPCC ChildLine
How are you helping children through this campaign?
When you join this campaign you are raising awareness around bullying and spreading the word about confidential youth helpline NSPCC ChildLine, 0800 1111.
This campaign is all about having some fun (and going through a bit of pain!)
When you join the campaign on the site you make a commitment to give up something for 30 days. Talk about what you are ‘giving up’ with friends and family, get them involved in the campaign. You can also get friends to sponsor the campaign through making a donation. Facebook and Tweet about it (hashtag #kickbullying). Come back here, click on 'Your page' to update your progress. Spread the word.
Who is The NSPCC?
The NSPCC is one of the UK's most important children's charities. NSPCC ChildLine is a confidential phone number any young person can call to get advice, counselling or help. www.nspcc.org.uk
When can you get involved?
Now! And it's free. If you want to fundraise you can do that too. Join the campaign for any 30 day period between 16 February - 29 May 2010. So the last day to join is 29 April 2010.
Have a look below. And decide on just one thing you will give up for 30 days. You will need to sign up, which you can do with one click using Facebook Connect.
What to do next?
You can either join a group of people giving something up or come up with your own idea. Sweets, taking the escalator, coffee, smoking, wearing blue, whatever floats your boat. More info in the FAQ tab or just join below. It's as easy as possible. If you would help raise funds (not mandatory) see the FAQ tab.
If you have any questions, please contact Sophie Moss at the NSPCC on 020 7825 2822 or visit www.nspcc.org.uk/kickingbullyingintotouch
