Love Is All We Need works with communities affected by HIV/AIDS and poverty in sub-Saharan Africa. We currently support two NGOs in South Africa: The Hope Centre in the Sweetwaters community, KwaZulu Natal province and the Mdumbi Education Centre, Eastern Cape province.

The three main projects we raise funds for are:

* The Hope Centre, Sweetwaters:

In the Sweetwaters community:

• 40% of people are HIV positive
• There are over 5,000 orphans needing food and medicine
• Up to 189 parents die of AIDS each week

Run by committed volunteers, the Centre provides 33 orphans with the love, care and support of a true family. Trained volunteers also travel to isolated areas, providing nearly 800 patients with food, clothes, medicine - and regular doses of love.

* Children Building Nations:

The Hope Centre struggles to meet the high needs of the Sweetwaters community as there are over 2,000 child-led households. As a result, we created the Children Building Nations Project, which is the construction of a community hub that includes a refuge, a food hall, a medical centre and more classrooms.

* Mdumbi Educational Centre:

The Mdumbi Education Centre is a community-led project that offers HIV/AIDS awareness, health promotion, emotional support and education to vulnerable children, so they can live healthy lives and rise out of poverty. We are raising funds for the centre because, although all children in South Africa now have a right to education; poverty, isolation and a lack of resources means these children are not being supported by the education system.
