Wow, have you heard of these great new bands called Strangefruit and The Invasion Of...? Probably not, but given the experience of the band members (ex Babyshambles and Libertines respectively) they're destined for great things. On November 12th, both bands will be performing at 'Whizz-Fest', a concert that benefits Whizz-Kidz, a charity that seeks to help disabled children live out an active childhood.
Ashley Westpfel, regional fundraising manager at Whizz-Kidz is especially excited. “This will be a top night. This is a first for us, but given the talent involved - from the artists and our supporters who have donated their time and dedication to bringing this together – there is no reason we can’t put more on."
Whizz-Fest takes place at The Arches, London Bridge on Thursday 12th November. Tickets are £10 from www.wegottickets.com
