How we make money


Welcome to the home of having fun and doing good.

Sometimes people ask us how we pay the light bills. Here's some background on our 'business model'.  

A very social aim

We launched as a UK limited company with a very social aim in June 2009.  We have the financial support of a couple of handfuls of good people who believe that there is another way to "do charity". That's through making doing good about tapping into people's desire to have fun.

From day 1 we set out to make what we do sustainable and with a plan to enable us to expand and grow the LeapAnywhere concept around the world.

For the foreseeable future we anticipate investing all our money back into making LeapAnywhere the world's home for having fun and doing good. We want the Leap Effect to grow and grow and to spread the message of having fun and doing good from Austin to Boston and Mumbai to Shanghai.

Totally free for individuals and charities

Because we want to spread the LeapAnywhere concept far and wide, it is totally free to use. Individuals don't pay anything and charities use the site for free.  We believe free can be good for LeapAnywhere and very good for the over 200 charities and causes we are working to support.

Premium service for companies

For companies, we provide a premium service called LeapCR (Leap Corporate Responsibility) which is a valuable tool that enables them to provide their employees with an effective (that means they have to actually use it), simple and fun CSR platform. LeapCR comes with beautiful reporting that helps companies who want to measure and improve the CSR contribution of their company's employees throughout the year.

Employees who work with companies using LeapCR will never again say, "I want to do something for charity but don't know what to do." We believe it's the best solution in the world for companies to do good. For more information about LeapCR please email leapcr@leapanywhere.com.
